What is a spell checker?
A spell checker is a tool that finds misspelled words and suggests the right spelling. This one reads your whole text, returns it with the spelling fixed, and then lists each change as the original word and the correction, so you can see exactly what moved before you copy it.
Why does a spell checker miss some mistakes?
Many spell checkers only compare words to a dictionary, so a real word in the wrong place, like "form" for "from", slips through. Names, brand terms and technical words can also be flagged by mistake. Read the result once more before you send it.
