What is a tweet analyzer?
A tweet analyzer is a tool that reads a post before you share it and tells you how well it's written. This one scores five parts of the post from 1 to 10, explains each score in a sentence, and suggests one change for each. It looks at the writing, not your account or your stats.
What do the five scores mean?
Each score answers one question about the post, in the order people read it. The overall score is the average of the five, so one weak part pulls it down. Fix the lowest one first, then check again.
| Score | The question | A quick way to raise it |
|---|---|---|
| Hook | Does the first line make people stop? | Open with the result, a number or a clear opinion. |
| Promise | Is it clear what the reader gets? | Say who it's for and what they'll learn or feel. |
| Curiosity | Is there a reason to read to the end? | Leave one question open that the post answers. |
| Word choice | Are the words specific and vivid? | Swap vague words for names, numbers and plain verbs. |
| Structure | Is it easy to read top to bottom? | Short lines, one idea each, with white space between. |
What makes a good hook on X?
A good hook says the most interesting thing first, in one short line. It gives a result, a number or a clear opinion, and it leaves one question open that the rest of the post answers. People decide in a second whether to keep reading, so the first line does most of the work.
- Weak: "Some thoughts on hiring."
- Better: "We hired our first salesperson too early. Here's how we'd know next time."

Does a high score mean more reach?
Not on its own. The score is about the writing, and reach also depends on who follows you, when you post, and whether people reply. A well-written post gives you a fair chance. Posting steadily and answering replies does the rest.
Postel helps with the steady part: it learns how you write, drafts posts for LinkedIn and X from your notes and links, and schedules them. To see how your posts did after the fact, try the free Twitter analytics tool.
